Your Trip:
The best time of the year for Lake Okeechobee is the months of November through April when seeking a real trophy. The other months will provide lots of action, but normally smaller fish. The winter months are a welcome relief for people from the north, as Florida's weather during the winter is rather balmy (shirt sleeves) for the most part, with an occasional cold front requiring a jacket in the mornings. If fishing live bait, the bait will be at clients expense.
May through October is a better time for artificial lures, though fishing wild shiners can still be very productive.
Special trips for fishing the Everglades can be arranged by calling Bill. At times during the winter, this can be some very exciting action.

day will begin with meeting at Roland Martin Marina and Resort. We
will discuss the type fishing that you prefer to do and make sure we
have all the right equipment on board. Your trip with Capt Bill Nemec
will comfortable and safe. My goal is tom make your trip a lifetime
memory and most of all have fun while chasing those big Okeechobee
bass around the lake. Be sure to bring your camera as there is a lot
of wildlife on the lake.
